Sweeter Disease Free Tomato Tip

Sweeter Disease Free Tomato Tip

prevent blight and blossom rot

Here is a tip for producing amazingly sweet tomatoes that are free from blight, a condition that causes tomatoes to suddenly wilt, rot and then die before the fruits can ripen. This tips also prevents blossom rot. . .

You'll Need:

1 Clean Spray Bottle
1 c. powdered milk
4 c. warm water

Mix the milk
and water together until fully incorporated. Mist any tomato plants that are showing signs of distress such as fungal infection or blight. (You'll need to do this weekly, or until the fungus is completely gone).

Use the remaining solution to water your tomato plants, again once weekly. This environmentally friendly concoction is an excellent fungicide and pesticide.

The calcium in the milk used to water the plants will also help prevent Blossom Rot, which is often caused by a deficiency of calcium.
